VEGAN BROWNIES WITH CHOCOLATE FROSTING

baking with your bestie is sure to put a smile on your dial! Especially when the goods turn out like these beauties šŸ˜ vegan chocolate and walnut brownies with avocado frosting.. d e l i c i o u s!

Ingredients -

Brownies -

2 flax seed eggs

1/2 cup rice malt syrup

1/2 cup melted coconut oil

1/4 cup coconut sugar

1 cup spelt flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 tablespoons cacao powder

3/4 cup crushed walnuts

Frosting -

2 avocados

1/2 cup rice malt syrup

1 tablespoon cacao powder

Method -

1. mix all of the wet brownie ingredients in a bowl. Once combined, add in the dry ingredients and mix together to form the brownie batter. If the consistency is too thick, add in a splash of almond milk to thin the mixture slightly. Put the batter into a lines slice or cake tin and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes.

2. While the brownie cooks, you can make the chocolate frosting. For this, add all of the frosting ingredients into a food processor and blitz until a thick, creamy frosting has formed.

3. Let the brownie cool completely before adding the frosting to the top and cutting it into brownie sized pieces.
